Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)

After obtaining unconditional offer for study in any university or institute from UK you will be eligible for your CAS. If you have conditional offer then you must have to meet the mentioned condition first.

View the CAS from two UK Universities:

What is CAS?
The CAS is a confirmation that you are accepted for the studies, Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). It is the information about you sent to the UK border agency (or visa officers) by the university. It contains a unique reference number, your name, your university's licence number, title of your course, starting date of your course, end date of the course, tuition fee, scholarship awarded (if any) and fee paid to date (if any).
The CAS also shows the list of documents you used to obtain the admission and the CAS. You have to submit these original documents with your visa application.

For postgraduate courses, a CAS usually mentions the following documents:

  1. Masters Degree and Transcripts
  2. Bachelors Degree and Transcripts
  3. IELTS

NOTE:
If you have paid some amount of fee it will be shown on your CAS. And if you paid the fee after the issuing of CAS, ask the university to update your CAS. And, submit the latest version of your CAS in visa application.
