About FG College Jhelum

The proposal for this long awaited and urgently needed institution was put up in 1985. In 2001 after lapse of 16 years, the then GOC 23 Division, Maj. Gen. Muhammad Masood Aslam SJ, Chairman sub regional Board Jhelum Cantt and Director of Protracted (C/G) GHQ Rawalpindi, avoiding any further hassles and protracted remittances consented for the start of this institutuion. With 132 students and 5 teachers, this college was established as F.G Inter College, Jhelum Cantt, in July 2001.

At present, there are around 350 students in the college and around 20 academic staff. Most of the academic staff is commissioned pass.
